![]() I guess you can choose something that for me doesn't seem right with the game. The many situations of her possible death and other timelines kind of show that off. Then Chloe is no matter what, suffering or dead, or both. Then of course the tornado would kind of get rid of everything.īut she did get her powers, she had visions of the storm and because of her, she created more chaos and more outcomes which is what is natural in this universe. Max would have never affected anyone's life and things would mostly turn out terrible. Jefferson is very relentless with asking you to submit a photo and enjoys your company more. If Max never got her powers then she would have taken Victoria's place since Mr. It's about chaos theory, limitless outcomes and fractals. Especially since season 2 isn't even about Max lol. What I like to think is that this isn't all about Max. Well I didn't say they meant that to be the ending, I said they mentioned running out of time to do everything they wanted. Personally, watching the longer ending, I didn't see the Max I fell in love with, just a girl without the courage to spit fate into its ugly face, no matter what. It's perfectly fine if it makes more sense to you, but the devs did not mention they wanted the longer ending to be canon or such. Also at least for me, the longer ending is more like the Max I played than the other ending.Īlso, didn't they say they ran out of time and had to release? So I don't blame them for focusing more on one ending. Also this ending like I said feels like a conclusion, the other is even more unsatisfying IMO. It even makes more sense since she is having visions of the storm before even seeing Chloe again. Originally posted by ØniKanji:It's longer, has more meaning and has more of a conclusion. So why not just be glad, that the devs are making a second game at all? ) It's either Season 2 with new characters or no Season 2 at all. So it's not like this new story would be the replacement for that. ![]() If you don't want a Life is Strange game without Max and Chloe, then that's fine: Simply don't play "Season 2" and be happy with everything you got from "Season 1" and Before The Storm.īut as I explained above: A sequel with Max and Chloe wouldn't make much sense at all. That's not even that uncommon in gaming (just look at Final Fantasy). I mean: Technically it's not even a sequel, but just a new story with a similar style. I think having a story with a similar theme (Young Adult life problems mixed with mystery and a supernatural twist), but with different characters, a different setting and maybe different super powers is the best way to make a "sequel" here. (Plus there is no way they could make a game, that satisfyingly picks up where Season 1 left of and takes both endings into account) Every attempt to continue the story, would likely just run into repetition. There is pretty much nothing else to tell here. And depending on your choices, you either killed 50% of the game's protagonists or 90% of the games overall characters. All mysteries were revealed or kept mysterious on purpose (e.g. There really is no reason or possibility to continue onward from that. The story of Max and Chloe came to an end in Season 1.
